Qld: Man charged over supplying rampaging youth with petrol
A man will appear in a Queensland court today .. charged with supplying petrol to 30
juveniles .. who violently rampaged through an Aboriginal community.
Up to 40 youths .. aged between 11 and 15 .. went on a destructive rampage in Woorabinda
.. near Rockhampton .. about 10.40pm (AEST) on Sunday.
The 18-year-old will face Rockhampton Local Court on the charges .. enacted to reduce
petrol sniffing in the community.
Property and buildings were damaged during the riot .. before police were pelted with
sticks .. broken bottles and rocks .. when they arrived to break it up.
