Fed: Captain awaits confirmation of report=2
Captain ARNE RINNAN says he heard reports of Indonesia's offer on Perth radio and is
expecting to discuss the situation with officials in Oslo soon.
He says the problem is that they have 438 people on the ship and they're talking of
jumping overboard.
Mr RINNAN says if that happens it might be Australia's problem in the end anyway.
He says he's more afraid for the asylum seekers' safety than for that of the crew.
